Description: THE HISTORY OF MUSIC by EMIL NAUMANN Special Edition in Five Volumes (1886) Undated as issued, Institutional library collections who hold copies of this Special Edition dated in to circa 1886 a handsomely produced Victorian set of books covering the History of Music in Five Volumes, featuring pictorial bevelled edged covers titled and decorated in gilt, page edges gilded all-round, internally illustrated with portraits, folding facsimiles of music and letters, and other illustrations within the text, just over 9 inches tall, over 1300 pages across the five volumes CONDITION the covers have some lightened spotting to the cloth, some general edge wear rubbing with a couple of small snags to the cloth, internally tear with no loss to front endpaper of volume one, ownership names dated November 1906 to front endpapers, some foxing to opening and closing few pages, some heavy foxing and browning to plates which are printed on a different paper stock to the text, a few creased page corners pencilled underlining and some pencilled annotations in volume one, this can be easily erased if desired else contents in good general condition SHIPPING INFORMATION EU Customers Please note since the UK has now left the EU, it is the customers responsibility to be aware of any import taxes and VAT that may be incurred when buying and importing from a Non EU Country and they should expect pay any taxes that are now due this is also the case with certain U.S States, Canada, and Australia Sorry but these changes are out of my hands Member of the P.B.F.A.
