A limited edition work, limited to two-hundred numbered copies, of which this is numbered one-hundred and fifteen. Signed by the author to the front pastedown, signed to Mr. C. Matier. This could be Charles Matier, who became the Grand Secretary of the Cheshire Freemasons in 1889. A history of the Freemasons Lodge in Leeds. It was founded in 1794, and this work was published to celebrate the Centenary of the Lodge. With a frontispiece, and twenty-two plates. Written by Charles Letch Mason, who was formerly the Master of the Lodge. Bookplate to the recto to the front endpaper, 'Andy Durr'. Collated, complete. CONDITION In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A couple of minor marks to the boards. Presentation label and institutional label to the front pastedown. Bookplate to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just a couple of light handling marks.
