Description: What an excellent piece of history here! Knife is in great used condition for the age. Handles are 3 pin, genuine stag and are in good condition with beautiful coloration.No cracks or chips! Snap is great and strong, both opening and closing, and has good half stop. Blade has some minor spots on the both sides of the blade, see photos.Blade shows signs of buffing and sharpening wear. Stamp on the tang is worn, but can still be read: MARBLE'S | GLADSTONE | MICH U.S.A. Safety guard has slight looseness Very unusual and uniquely designed knife. The blade is much longer than the handle, and is accommodated by an extension that protects the blade when closed, and folds up out of the way into the liner when opened.Swing guard to protect your hands from slipping when opened and in use. Gorgeous STAG handles accented with nickel silver bolsters and guard, stainless safety extension piece, and brass liner make this one a real beauty.
