Description: My star struck cousin collected this 1940's era movie fan photo of LEON ERROL. "He is well remembered for his energetic performances in the Mexican Spitfire movies opposite Lupe Velez (1939–43), in which Errol had the recurring dual role of affable Uncle Matt, and foggy,British nobleman, Lord Epping." EBAY BY CASE" IS TO PROTECT FROM COPYING. YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH WITHOUT THE WATERMARK. SOLD AS IS. It is a stunning 5" X 7" photo (a remarkable find) which bears the following message: Best Wishes Leon Errol (Could be a copy and not the original signature?) This photo of the star is in EXCELLENT condition owing to the fact that it was safely protected behind a cover in a scrapbook for the last 70+ years. There is the expected, age yellowing and several small remnants of the taped squares & some light stains on the back of the photo where it was, until recently, attached to the scrapbook page (photos 2 & 6). There is a slight curl to the paper. On the top edge of the border above the letter b in by, there is a very tiny black dot which you might be able to see by zooming in on photos 1 & 4. Please study the photos for overall condition and the above mentioned, and email any questions. I have the original scrapbook with at least 100 of these fabulous old photos from the 1940's, many of them signed, in various sizes featuring Hollywood's famous male, female and child stars. Email if you want more info on this UNIQUE collection. Thanks for looking.
