I acquired them from Marvin Wachman's daughter, Lynn, along with a substantial number of items associated with Marvin Wachman. Five quartos, publisher's original boards, illustrated throughout with photographs. Minimal wear, else in very good + condition. Lincoln University, chartered in 1854 as the Ashmun Institute, holds the distinction of being the first degree-granting historically black university in the United States. Located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, near Oxford, the university has a strong focus on liberal arts education, offering undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines.
