Description: This is a hard-cover 1976 book (see picture), entitled THE SAGINAW HALL OF FAME, published by the SAGINAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION. This book, 164 pages in length, contains pictures and biographical sketches of "men and women of Saginaw who have earned fame or distinction for themselves and thereby for Saginaw". The Hall of Fame was formed in 1964, and members honored in this book range from Louis Campau, Saginaw's first white settler, and lumberman Arthur Hill to actress Marie Dressler and Governor Wilber Brucker. This book is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 47 years. Except for an address label on the inside front cover, there appears to be no handwriting in the book. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Saginaw resident, Eastern Michigan historian, or history book collector in your life! Postage is $4.50. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
