1st Combined Edition 1st Printing Mercy Of A Rude Stream Henry Roth! Beautiful!

Description: Here is a a beautiful collectible copy of the first combined edition of the four complete novels that make up Henry Roth’s epic Mercy Of A Rude Stream. Henry Roth cemented his place in American literature by writing what some consider the great American novel Call It Sleep in 1934. First editions of this title in a jacket and in collectible condition are pretty much impossible to find and quite untouchable in price. Signed? Forget about it. This copy is a first edition first printing combining A Star Shines Over Mt. Morris Park, A Diving Rock On The Hudson, From Bondage, and Requiem For Harlem. This copy is in like new condition and is quite a thick book coming in at 1279 pages. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The light blue boards are spotless but for one tiny smudge at the very bottom of the front board. The grey spine and silver gilt lettering and decor on the spine and front board are bright and beautiful as shown. The spine ends and all four corners are in excellent condition also as shown in the photos provided. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. This jacket has little to no wear whatsoever but for a tiny tear at the very bottom of the spine but minimal indeed as shown in the images posted. This copy is that nice and will make a wonderful addition to any collection or library.
