Description: This vintage pair of cups from INARCO of Cleveland, Ohio is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in Japan in 1962-63, these art pottery cups feature a matte finish and abstract art design with a pattern of grapes. The cups have handles and are decorative in style, perfect for adding a touch of Victorian elegance to any room. Measuring 4 3/4" and 3 3/4" in height, and 5 3/4" and 4 1/2" in width, these cups are made of ceramic and are an original vintage item. The larger cup has the INARCO foil sticker but it is missing on the smaller cup both are ink stamped.The cups weigh 8.6oz and 5.2oz and are made more for decorative use. The International Art Ware Corporation (INARCO) was founded in 1960 by ceramics designer Irwin Garber in Cleveland, Ohio after leaving NAPCO which he cofounded in 1938. INARCO was a prominent exporter of Japanese ceramics as was NAPCO.
