40’s Vintage L.L. BEAN BLACK DUCK OVER SIZED GUNNING DECOY

Description: Very old, from the 40’s I was told. L.L. Bean Black Duck Working Decoy. There are a few shot holes in the head, as well as some cracking, but those were well earned, and certainly do not merit or require repair. The screw and washer that hold the head in place are missing, but I can certainly fit something up there if you desire. The body is in good condition, with just some paint remaining, but has a great patina. The original paint being brown is hard to see against the aged dark cork. The overall length including the head is 20”, width 8”, and height of 7”.
