However percussion caps can & do vary in size from one Mfr to another, not all caps are created equal, so occasionally #11 caps may also fit. These Revolver Nipples are threaded (M6 x .75) and will properly fit Pietta Revolvers only. These stainless are more durable than the original stock Pietta nipples, as they are made from high quality stainless steel which is much more resistant to corrosion and are stronger.
