Description: Here is a MORAKNIV or MORA COMPANION MG (C) RED 8 1/4" OVER-ALL Length FIXED BLADE KNIFE, these knives are made to Sweden military spec's and are center balanced which is rare to find in knives made today, plus where can you buy a true military knife for $24.99 delivered. This now makes 4 of this line of knives we have in our inventory , Black & Green the original , then the Black Companion, Blue & Black and now this Red Companion. All of these knives have a Carbon steel blade the sharpest alloy The handle is a Non-Slip Rubber and super comfortable to handle , very easy to work with a pleasure I'd say but the only way you'll feel this is to have one in your hands. The Blade is Chrome Vanadium this alloy is the sharpest you can buy and the people that use knives daily will only use a blade made of this alloy, why it will hold its edge longer and the ease of sharpening. Case XX use's this alloy on many of their knives I'm using them for an example seeing most of you know Case Knives. Looking at the blade notice you do not see an edge, different isn't it I'll say this one more time these are some very, very sharp knives. SPEC'S8 1/4" overall. 3 5/8" carbon steel blade. Red polypropylene handle. Gray molded plastic belt sheath with drain hole. I also have this knife in all Black if you would rather have one like that , the only different is the color. One thing I should tell you , these knives do not come in a box or any packaging there are just placed in the sheath and shipped. I do wrap them in bubble wrap to protect while in shipping, this is another reason the price is low. One more thing when in the sheath they lock in place and when you put the knife in one you will feel it lock in. Between the 4 colors we have we have sold well over a thousand of these knives over the years, many people have said why not for the money you can't go wrong so they just add one or more to their order, also many dad's have brought one of these for their sons a first knife and all you need to do is make sure it is oiled do that and any of these Mora knives will last. How many of you have ever watched the show on the Weather channel Fat Guys in the Woods, the host Creek who is a survivalist in the beginning of the show gives each person a knife you guessed it he gives them each a Morakniv this exact knife, in green and black. I was surprised when I first noticed this but after thinking about it , it makes sense a perfectly balanced knife that is as sharp as you can get with a rubber Non-Slip Handle a true non-slip these are made for their military , seeing they are normally in bad weather and it was designed by the military in Sweden. The knife its self weigh's 4.0oz. and with the hard resin shell sheath it weighs 5.2oz. .. The blade edge is 4" long and its 1/8" thick and 3/4" wide. I have used many Non-Slip Handle knives but this one has a feel all of its own and as I said I have found it to be one of if not the most comfortable handles to work with.
