Note: It is fairly well known that these first generation of IPS monitors with G-Sync suffer from a few "quirks" when you have G-Sync enabled. This model of monitor specifically has two common issues: 1) They occasionally need to have G-Sync disabled and re-enabled to remove a strange bar that appears on the left side of the monitor (about 1/8" wide). 2) They randomly experience a black screen while doing anything with G-Sync on. I have experienced the first issue with these monitors. About once every few weeks over the 5-ish years I've had them The second issue, the black screen, came up when I was using a GTX 2070 for a time, but has not before or since. If you are unlucky and have the black screen issue, as far as I'm aware the only work around is to not use G-Sync or do some very expensive trial and error with hardware.
