Description: These surprisingly versatile tubing clamps with threaded ends and hooks can be used for far more than just adding a hook to tubing, although they are designed for just that. Made from corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, the tubing clamp portion features ABS inserts to help create a firmer grip on the tubing being clamped. The real genius of the product is the threaded hole. Each clamp comes with a hook which can be screwed into the threaded hole with the included M5 screw. But that same threaded hole can be used for any number of other things. For example, look at the pictures of a lymphedema sequential circulator cart. The boots are hanging off the cart in a standard configuration. But these are not only useful as hooks - they can attach nearly anything with an M5 thread onto the pipe or tubing you are interested in. In the included pictures you can see an M5 eye-bolt on the back of the cart, which is being used as a wire guide for the power cord to reduce the chances that it gets run over or trampled, and on the front two of them are being used to attach a wooden board across two pieces of tubing to neatly hang the air tubing off of coat hooks. If you do one of these "non-standard" applications, the hooks can still be used, as in the included pictures where the hook was screwed into the wall to hold a heavy air hose, which broke a less stout hook whose remnants can still be seen to the right. The limits of the usefulness of these clamps are in your imagination. The stated range for the tubing on the clamp is 18-40mm, but the diameter of the tubing on the cart in the included pictures was just a little bit too thin: wrapping the tubing with a small piece of rubber sheet made attachment possible, and they are working very well. These are made of rust resistant aluminum and while I don't have the engineering documents on this, it seems plenty sturdy for most household applications.
