Description: This is a very well made ancient Chinese Han Dynasty bronze short sword REPLICA. It is not ancient, it is modern. At first inspection, if you were not used to handling ancient bronze swords this looks genuine. The patina is very sophisticated. The giveaway to determine the age of this is that there is no oxidation whatsoever. The edge is nearly perfect and sharp. Measuring 11.5" blade including the forte. The grip is 3.5". Very balanced. The blade, a wide diamond cross section shows a pronounced high midrib and a very thin blade thickness as the originals would have been. This is not one of those crudely made and mass produced products that are flooding the marketplace. Overall a well cast and nicely polished short sword replica.
