Has a small tear to the right of his left shoulder. I have not been able to find any information on this painting. The first photo is enhanced to see more detail. Could use some restoration. There is something on the back of his head. At first, I thought he was Jewish, but he may be Russian. He appears to be a religious man. Looks to be painted in the mid to late 1800's.
