Description: Up for auction is this beautiful porcelain fish plate. It was manufactured by LS & S Limoge of France and dates from the 1870's era. The plate was part of a fish service set but it has obviously been broken up over time. The plate is beautifully hand painted showing a cherub / putti wearing a pink dress and sat on a bank fishing. The fishing line is luring several fish also shown in the water. Signed by artist 'E. Furlaud' (for Etienne Furlaud) who was a well know porcelain artist of the day. The plate comes in a bright white ground with a colorful scene showing trees, grass and landscape. It measures 9-1/8" in dia. and comes in great condition. One tiny chip to the back side of the edge rim (not seen from front). Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no additional charges and no handling fees. Shipping within the USA will be via the USPS mailing service at $10.00. Good Luck !! Don't miss the chance to add this plate to your collection.
