Description: Up for sale is an original, ANTIQUE MAP from the ATLAS OF THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, MASSACHUSETTS. Including SOUTH BOSTON AND DORECTERS - from actual surveys and official records, by and under the Direction of G.M. Hopkins, Civil Engineer - Published by G.M. Hopkins & Co., Philadelphia - Volume 3rd - 1874 - Engraved by Edward Busch. This map is titled - PART OF WARD 12 - SOUTH BOSTON. Volume 3 - Plate E It is blank on the reverse side. It measures approximately 26 1/2" x 17", including the border area. It is generally in VERY GOOD Condition. There is some age related browning and toning and a few spots. It has a few small nicks/chips around the edges. Other dings here and there, as well. There is a fold down the middle from where it was originally bound. Map will ship flat. Although I have photographed the title page of the Atlas that this map was taken from, it is NOT included in the sale of this map, as I need it for authenticity reasons for the other maps.
