It measures 7" tall x 7" at widest point. Including open link chain it measures 14" tall. It has a beige and brown background on both sides wirh a lovely floral pattern down the center. A pull tab in the center of the frame. The inside has silk lining with a pocket on one side and an attached mirror on the other side. I am not sure if this purse was made in France or Austria. You can see some minor wear on the material near the bottom of the purse. Also a few spots with light staining. It does not distract from the beauty of this purse. I just love the gold tone frame which has jewels and enamel pieces. It has a push button closure. There are swans in the cornwer which the chain handle attaches to. It has a floral pattern in the middle, houses and trees on the bottom area and horses, houses, birds on the top area. The pattern is the same on both sides.
