Description: Complete set of screw tip auger bits from Russell Jennings that are in excellent shape. The wooden box is black labeled from Chester Connecticut and is in excellent condition. The box holds 14 bits in a three tiered hinged shelf system. Appears 2 bits are missing. See picture of bits. Dating this stuff is difficult. The box, because of the black label, seems to be from around 1910. The box and bits appear to represent a significant portion of the history of the Russell Jennings Company.
