Description: This steel engraving by Appleton was from a series of British Artist. The Princess Amelia, painted at the age of 9 or 10 around 1793. The artist was Sir Thomas Lawarence ( 1769 - 1830 ). Princess Amelia died at an early age of 27 years old. The Artist was quite well known, He was the Fourth President of the Royal Academy .
