Antique Underwood Sun Sculpture Stereoscope Viewer & 117 Cards & Box

Description: Enhance your collection with this antique Underwood Sun Sculpture Stereoscope Viewer and 117 Cards & Box. This rare piece is an original production technique from the Late 1800's to early 1900's time period and features black and white images of travel and China, Yosemite, Panama, President McKinley and Christianity. The stereoview type is Underwood & Underwood, and the image color is black and white. There are a few colored cars as well. The unit quantity is 117 cards, and the country/region of manufacture is the United States. This set comes with the a velvet lined box. Although the box shows wear, for something that is over 100 years old the inside is in pretty good condition. Some colored wax would improve the box appearance. There are some fantastic images. I took a few pictures as examples. There are many more awesome pictures. A few of them are actual photographic paper glued onto the card! There are 75 of a thicker card stock with mixed topics/locations. There are 22 thinner stock cards that depict Christian themed images and there are 20 thinner card stock cards that are all appear to be related to Panama.
