Description: In this listing we have a really lovely Barbie outfit. This doll outfit was released a few years ago by Mattel as their Barbie career line.This outfit is from their Tennis Player doll. It consists of a cute one piece with printed details tennis dress with pink surging at the neck, sleeves, and bottom hem, a orange plastic tennis racket, a yellow plastic tennis ball, and a pair of pink plastic sneakers. This outfit is designed for dolls with the “Original” body and will fit similar sized dolls. The shoes are for “Original” or “Petite”dolls with the flat feet. The dress closes in the back with Velcro and the shoes have as slit in the back to help get them on the doll’s feet. The tennis racket has a handle for the doll to hold it. There is a small post on the tennis racket that the ball can click into.The tennis ball can be removed in case you wanted to pose your doll with it. This outfit was made in Indonesia. My pictures coloring came out a little bright, things like the dress and racket are a bit more muted in person. This outfit is in very nice condition. It has never been played with. It was just taken off a just removed from the box doll. It does have some factory issues though. The dress is in good shape. It does have some excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on, at the side seams at the arm holes, and at the bottom hem on the left side.On the back of the dress on the left side near the Velcro there looks to be two small wrinkles in the fabric. I think they are wrinkles, I am not sure. There is also a larger wrinkle on the back right of the skirt. On the left side at the Velcro there are a few small snags to the back of the fabric. Not sure how since the stiff part of the Velcro is also on that side. The surging at the neck, armholes, and bottom hem is a little off in a couple spots. Everything looks secure, in just a few places the threads are a little spaced out and the unfinished fabric is peeking out slightly. It’s very minor, but you can see it. The threads used for the surging is a little …hairy for a lack of a better word. The thread isn’t totally smooth so when you look closely at it you can see some little fibers coming off from the thread. It is pretty minor. The bottom left seam is a little uneven at the bottom hem. The back is a little bit longer than the front. The racket and tennis ball look good. They both have seam lines and mold injection spots. The tennis racket is a little warped,when you look at it at the side, it’s not totally flat. It’s pretty minor, but you can see it. The shoes look good. They also have seam lines and mold injection spots. When you look at them closely,they do have a few minor molding flaws here and there, but they are pretty minor. They’re just not perfect. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
