BILL DICKEY 1953-55 “ARTVUE”(Type 1) B&W Baseball HOF PLAQUE POSTCARD

Description: This item features HOF catcher Bill Dickey of the New York Yankees(and one season as their manager) on an unused 1953-55 “Artvue” black and white Baseball Hall of Fame Plaque “Post Card”, the “Type 1” version produced only those three years that featured four empty holes in the four corners of the plaque on the front. Measures roughly 3 1/2” x 5 1/2” inches. Fronts say “National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Cooperstown, New York”. Backs have “Artvue Post Card Co., 225 Fifth Ave., New York, NY.” Nice and clean VG-EX condition with no creases or bends, soft slightly rounded corners and mild edge/surface wear, nothing too bad. The “white” portions of these b&w cards tend to yellow with age plus the black ink adheres and rubs off on to both sides of them when they’ve been kept together and handled over time.
