This heatshrink must be installed over properly insulated leads, and terminals as its internal bonded layer is conductive to produce its shielding for your applications. This listing is for a 1ft. length of my M-shield heat shrink tubing with integrated EMI/RFI silver shielding layer. The heat shrink is 12mm in diameter, and features a 3:1 shrink ratio meaning it will shrink to 4mm at its maximum shrink. This means your essentially purchasing 8 different size pieces of heat shrink to fit a multitude of applications that require shielding.This tubing can be installed over itself for roughly a 50%increase to its standard shielding capability if required for your applications!In order to use it simply install the copper tape around your unshielded wires, or cable that has the soldered lead to it. This step installs your green silicone wire ground drain for the shield to be effective. The final step is to cut the heatshrink to your required length, slip it over the wires, or cable your shielding.
