Description: Presented today we have a fantastic collection of 4 NOS vintage Cronel ladies mechanical diver watches with calendar function. These great looking vintage timepieces were manufactured in the 1970s and still look great today. They are powered by a single jewel swiss mechanical movement and are all Swiss made. One was opened and the movement looks very clean and new. They are however all in need of a service and are being sold as is for repair. They all want to run and the second hands will run with a little rotation but then will stop. The hands can be set on all of them and the date functions on all of them as well when hands are advanced past midnight. The bidirectional count up divers bezel rotates freely in both directions on all of them. The case measures slightly larger than 27mm wide without the crown and 29mm hooded lug to hooded lug and has a lug width of 12mm. The base metal cases have a very nice brushed finish and all have extremely sharp crisp edges. The case backs are stainless steel and screw down. All appropriate engravings are clear present and legible. One case back does have a few light scratches and there may be a few light marks from over 50yrs of storage but over all the cases are in fine shape. The crystal on one and the bezel on another seem to have some adhesive residue present but should be able to be removed with a thorough cleaning and service. The metallic blue dials are gorgeous under the cyclops window acrylic crystals. They all have their original green creamy milky colored lume present and all dial type is clear and legible. All in all this is one great collection of vintage ladies divers that you wont want to miss out on. Make all the ladies in your life smile this year with a NOS vintage diver from the 1970s.
