Description: Here is a good Dedham Pottery desert size rabbit plate. It has deep blue color and fine crackle. It measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. Marked with the blue ink mark (unregistered) and one die-stamped forward facing bunny. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Hugh Robertson was fascinated by Asian ceramics and glazes, in particular the Chinese oxblood red. This is Hugh's version of Chinese crackleware and was made to keep the firm afloat. He died in 1908. A good piece of authentic Dedham pottery.
