Simple on-board controls allow for turning the unit on/off and for selecting from full-heat or half-heat--or fan-only mode, which comes in handy for summertime air circulation. The unit can be used instead of a ceiling fan during warm weather, creating a recirculated cool-air barrier to help keep cold air inside; in the winter months, the unit helps keep warm air inside by creating a heated warm-air barrier, moving warm air from the ceiling to the floor. Other highlights include an easy-access junction box, a wire-stitched heating element for instant response, a quiet fan, and two power-interrupt cut-outs to ensure safe operation.
