These are great old boring machines for timber framing. This one has a unique feature in that it can be switched for drilling in hardwood or softwood- the head of the unit is simply slid off the rails and flipped over. Comes from a clean nonsmoking workshop in the Randolph County NC countryside. Incredibly sturdy. Great for preppers, collectors, or wood working fans. Free saw dust included.
