Description: Estate fresh Edwardian dark navy blue wool walking dress with embroidered collar and mother of pearl buckle and buttons. Fair to good, wearable, condition. Scattered very small holes throughout, with two (dime sized) holes at waist (please see eleventh photograph) which are lost in the gathered fabric. Small spot on triangle shaped cutout of net lace at neck (fourth photograph). Two holes in gauzy cotton collar and some shattering at back of neck (best viewed in fourteenth photograph). Shattering of silk in lining at sleeve cuffs. Hook and eye closures on interior bodice, neck, and side. Snaps at bib. Buttons at side, one button is mismatched. Attached silk band and decorative buckle at waist. Medium weight wool linen is fully lined in silk at bodice and sleeves. Best size likely small. Shoulder to shoulder measures 15 inches, chest is 34 inches, waist is 26 inches, and hips are 36 inches. Shoulder to hem is 50 inches, and waist to hem is 35 inches.
