Description: This uncirculated 10 Egyptian piaster note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Egyptian Government in 2002. It is a violet and orange note that is dated 1940, bears the signature of Medhat A. Hassanein, and measures 118 mm x 62 mm. Its obverse side features the Great Sphinx of Giza, the pyramids, and a panel inscribed with “The Arab Republic of Egypt” in Arabic. Its reverse side shows the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque in Cairo. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark that shows the Mask of King Tutankhamun’s mummy.
