Josephine Dodge Daskam was a writer (Girl Scouts guidebook) and close friend of Elizabeth Jordan. Her daughter Deborah was the God Daughter of Elizabeth Jordan. "May Iverson Tackles Life" was given to Deborah as a child of 12. Gift message and signature on front facing endpaper. At 31 she was gifted a copy of "Three Rousing Cheers". She has read the book and marked sections pertaining to her Mom or herself. She comments on her memories of the times mentioned. I'm selling these together for obvious reasons. As books without jackets and obvious wear they are still nice signed copies. The obvious selling point is the connection between the author and the God-Daughter. "Three Rousing Cheers" has NO dust jacket. Inscription by Elizabeth Jordan and her God-daughter on front facing endpaper. Deckle edge to pages. Front of book has damage to top of pages, see photo.
