Author Biography Now retired, Roy Crosier was an engineer by experience, although a physicist by training. He has owned an MGA Twin Cam for over 40 years, and has done all the rebuilding work on it, including welding, bodywork, painting, mechanical, and electrical. He also takes care of all servicing and tuning of the Twin Cam. When requested, Roy carries out appraisals of MGAs for overseas purchasers. Roy is a keen and active member of his local MG group and organises visits, rallies, and tours, including trips to France. David Sear was born in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire in 1947, and remembers well the launch of postwar British sports cars in the 1950 and 1960s.
