Description: *This is a RARE record. Extremely rare as I couldn't find a single one listed. Excelsior Record: Tenor Solo, Orchestra Accompaniment, I've Got a Little Money and I Saved it All for You. Copyright 1905, In very good condition for the year with only minor scratches and pitting. (I'm not an authority for this type of thing, it just looks better than many in the group I inherited. It's not perfect by any means.) I inherited a group of antique records and I've been learning about them. It's all very fascinating. Here's what I learned about this record label: "Excelsior Record was produced by the International Record co. The label was registered on March 11, 1905 and ceased production in mid- 1907 following an injunction obtained by American Graphophone Co. (Columbia) alleging patent infringement." This record has great value for several reasons. First of how old it is and the condition it's in considering that aspect, and secondly because the company was only in business two years. (*A little note: Interestingly enough this labels name is currently being used in recent years again.) *Record has not been tested
