Each player has included the date of his perfect game below his signature. One important fact that must be noted is that of the twenty-three perfect games recorded, two were accomplished in 1880 (by Montgomery Ward and Lee Richmond) and three others (by Cy Young, Addie Joss, and Charlie Robertson) occurred between the years 1904 and 1922.
