Description: Four clear glass bottles, each about6 1/2" tall and 1 3/8" diameter at the bottom without stoppers and wired together. I'm thinking maybe it was used for gathering cut flowers from the woods or garden or greenhouse or perhaps test samples on a farm? Came to me just as you see it in the photos-pretty clean. The wire is coated with some sort of plastic-feeling coating probably to prevent rusting. The bottle walls seem to be fairly thick but variable. There are no markings on the bottles but there is a light residue inside which makes me think they at one point probably had water in them. Someone put in a certain amount of effort to assemble this item and it is out of respect for that effort that I list it.
