Hoyle is an associate professor of accounting at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. He is also an Accounting Teaching Fellow. In 2015, he was the first recipient of the J. The Cook Prize is awarded by the American Accounting Association and is the foremost recognition of an individual who consistently demonstrates the attributes of a superior teacher in the discipline of accounting.
