Description: JAPANESE FISHING FLOAT in NET. Hand-blown GREEN GLASS BALL with pontil. Glass with bubbles, inclusions as characteristic of old glass. Signed. The float is 42" around including the netting. It is approx. 13 3/4" wide. It carries the mark of Hokuyo Glass Co., Ltd. They call these "FF" floats because that's what the kanji looks like to those of us who are used to the roman/latin alphabet. They are the kanji for 北, which means, "North."Nice condition: No cracks or chips. The rope net is in good condition. Please see photos as they constitute part of description.
