Japanese Studio Pottery Child’s Yunomi Child’s Teacup Hand Painted Owls 産置?地

Description: For your consideration is this lovely child's Yunomi teacup produced in Japan most likely during the last 20 years. This piece appears to be a studio piece and the bottom, I believe, is stamped "産置?地 ". I'm not certain what the third character is. I have been unsuccessful in matching this mark to any pottery studio. The cup appears to be made from sand colored clay. The bottom of the cup is not glazed, but the rest is. The top rim is simply glazed and shows the natural color of the clay. The inside is white with an adorable small owl painted within it. On the outside are two owls, one larger than the other. Additionally are thumbprint polka-dots in pink. Then finish at the base with a clear glaze over natural clay. The cup measures 2.9 inches in diameter (widest section) x 3.2 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks, or abrasions observed. Simply a lovely piece of pottery. Shop with confidence when you shop with us.
