Some are dark, very dark others look like what you see, we have yet to see one with a light colored or thin handle. All good things, and being made in Spain makes these a awesome import. CC71 is 9 1/2" LONG. Sharp just doesn't say enough, satin finish Vanadium molybdenum Carbon steel blade, MoV 1.4116 - SPAIN, this blade edge is razor-sharp completely hand sharpened. If the title seems misleading to you I'm sorry I didn't have the room to say High-Carbon steel Blade in the title. The Handle is a 4.5" give or take it is stag and stag can vary because it is a natural material, the handles are also very thick and have plenty of color the curve gives you a grip that is awesome. The cost of stag continues to go up and in the last 2 1/2 years, 43 different knife companies have gone out of business because they could not buy quality stag, climate change caused deer to drop their racks early and that causes splintering, not a good thing for a handle. Joker rolled the stag this makes it much more comfortable to handle without losing any of the natural colors or pearling, and we put many pictures of the handle in this listing for you to see exactly how these handles are shaped. Also with the slight curve in the handle many people have said they like that it gives them a even better grip.
