Keystone Stereoview War Ships at Jamestown 300th Expo 1907 of Education Set #100

Description: This is a Stereo card of war ships at the opening of the Jamestown Exposition of 1907. This is a very nice image of the 300th Anniversary celebrations as we are now celebrating the 400th Anniversary of the founding of Jamestown. It is from the Keystone “Visual Education” 600 card “Tour of the World” set from the late 1910's and shows great details. This set was used in schools to teach children about the world. As with most Keystone sets, some of the images were taken years before the issue date of this set. Unlike most Keystone “Tour of the World” sets, this set has a very heavy emphasis on manufacturing around the world and includes factories, transportation, farming, mining, etc. Most cards in this set are in very good to excellent condition with typical wear to the edges. Any damage to this particular card will be listed below. This card is titled "Some of the Great War Ships in Hampton Roads for the Jamestown Exposition – Opening Day, April 26, 1907." and is numbered 100 with a Keystone negative number of 14158. This card is in very good to excellent condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject.
