Founded in the USA in 1979 as Langenthal Mills, the company was later renamed Langenthal Corporation, finally being renamed to unify corporate identity as Lantal Textiles, Inc. effective January 1996. This move brought together the combined presence of the US operation with the more mature European operations under a common name indicative of our textile heritage. Our parent company, Lantal Textiles of Langenthal, Switzerland; has been making quality textiles since 1886. The US operations are housed in an efficient manufacturing operation located on several acres just outside Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
