Description: Welcome to our Ebay Store!! Vintage "GLASS BALL FISHING FLOAT". This green glass float was likely hand blown by a Japanese glassblower. They used recycled glass, especially old sake bottles which typically created air bubbles/imperfections in the glass are a result of the rapid recycling process. After being blown, floats were removed from the blowpipe and sealed with a 'button' of melted glass before being placed in a cooling oven. Measures 37" around.Some imperfections you would expect during the manufacturing process. No Cracks - See Photos. Its primary use was for fishing, but it can also serve as a decorative piece for any nautical-themed room. Will be properly packaged to ensure safe delivery.
