Lego Marvel Avengers Tower

Description: This is my custom 4.5 foot Lego Avengers Tower. My goal was to make a very large and accurate tower, especially with the ability to hold the full size Quinjet and an accurate party area. It took several year, fifteen or so tries, but I finally accomplished it. It has the accurate party section with multiple levels, staircases, the blue pool table, the couch area with Thor's hammer, lamps, couches, tree, and the bar where Bruce and Natasha flirt. It has the slanted windows overlooking the back of the Quinjet and the catwalk underneath where Rhody get thrown through the glass and lands on. This has an opening door on the big side A inside the A that leads to the Iron Legion repair and launch area, as well as the glass ceiling, that is the floor of the lab Tony and Bruce are working in. The lab has an accurate curved wall overlooking the party area. Multiple levels full of work stations, equipment, Tony's toys, hospital level, two bathrooms, a break area, and an upper level workstation. The roof was a nightmare and had no less than ten different versions. This was built and finished before Lego came out with their big Avengers tower, This was all made and designed by me, except the roof. My final version was okay, but Lego's was better, so the one mod I made was using their idea for the roof. Since mine was so much bigger it needed a little extra help as the Legos could not take that much pressure. So on the back of the flexible curving roof is a few pieces of Gorilla tape. Sorry had to cheat. There are a few things glued here and there, but only a few as I try not to mod, glue, or paint Legos as much as possible. The real expense was the outside little light grey frames and windows. It took a lot of these, but looking at other large towers I felt these had not been used and were the most accurate. As many know the idea is the tower was built over New York's very famous Met Life building and Tony converted the top two thirds or so of the building into Stark Tower and then Avengers tower, so I built the bottom part of the Met life building for the tower to sit on. This combined with the tower gives it a total height of about 4.5 feet. Avengers Quinjet is included. This was a true labor of love, but it's time to sell off my beloved Lego city and move on to new things. There are a few Lego Avengers towers bigger, two that I know of, but I have yet to see one this accurate. I am especially proud of the Quinjet landing pad, the interior party/lab area, as well as the overall look. Shipping won't be easy or cheap, but I am willing as long as any buyer understands no matter how well packed, you will need to do repair work Local pick up or meet up is possible. I live in Redding , CA. about 2.5 hours north of Sacramento. I can go about 200 miles in any direction to meet a buyer.
