Lot of six early 20th Century books about education

Description: Please note: This lot will not be broken up. This is a lot of six original early 20th Century (all printed between 1900 and 1925) hardcover books about education, intended for teachers and administrators and offering an interesting look at how the American education system worked a century ago. The books also double as attractive decor in an antique-themed room. Here is a list of the books in the lot. 1.) Education for the Needs of Life: A Textbook in the Principles of Education, Irving Elgar Miller, The Macmillan Company (1923) 2.) The Teacher and the School, Chauncey P. Colgrove, Charles Scribner's Sons (1911) 3.) Rural School Methods, Elmer L. Ritter & Alta L. Wilmarth, Charles Scribner's Sons (1925) 4.) Teaching a District School: A Book for Young Teachers, John Wirt Dinsmore, American Book Company (1908) 5.) The Art of Study: A Manual for Teachers and Students of the Science and the Art of Teaching, B. A. Hinsdale, American Book Company (1900) 6.) A Superintendent's Suggestions to Teachers, John Albert Cone, Hinds, Hayden & Eldredge, Inc. (1924) Overall, these books are intact but are in worn condition. As you'll see in my first 11 photos, the covers have generally heavy wear consistent with their age, with noticeable stains, scuffs, scrapes, rub marks, and fraying in the corners. Inside, the pages have yellowed over the years but remain fairly crisp for easy reading; you'll see in my photos that stains occur frequently but are mostly minor. Some stray marks, wrinkles, small edge tears, and dog-ear creases also occur. Additionally, writing occurs inside the front covers of several books, including signatures and old prices.
