Description: ** Price is for one lamp, not the pair** 1960's desk lamp designed by Maclamp Ltd for Habitat 2 available Wood arms Restored in matt Little Greene 47 Mr. David Metal shades with metal base covers Chrome, switched bulb holder with black twisted flexIconic mid-century design Condition Both lamps are fully working, but not currently PAT tested (always advisable to get old lamps checked). Rewired with black twisted flex and fitted with switched, chrome bulb holders.The lamps had been badly overpainted. Their bases, shades and shade holders have been restored and resprayed in a matt, Little Greene 47. The shades have some minor imperfections. One has some corrosion to the interior lip of the shade, whilst the other has a couple of tiny pinhead dents (see pics). The wood arms have been oiled to enhance their natural colour and grain. One lamp has some discolouration in the wood.One of the lamp has some imperfections in the surface of the metal base cover. Both lamps have been fitted with a new, black felt base cover.Please be aware that although restored, these are vintage items (1960s) and therefore have some imperfections.
