This is the last of three illustrations of this scene by Hartung, the first version issued in Europe in the late 1940s as Edition Max Kunzli 4748 in which the campsite visitors are cows rather than bears. The second version, issued in the late 1950s as Mainzer card catalog number 4890, has neither cows nor bears poking around in the car. Condition is very good.
