Description: Maxfield Parrish - “Children Adventures” Three Original Black and White Illustrations from Kenneth Grahame’s 1900 First Edition of ‘The Golden Age’. Left to Right, ‘A Holiday’, page 14, ‘The Argonauts’, page 146, ‘Finding of the Princess’, page 62. I couldn’t resist the look of framing them in this 3-Window (Triptych-Type) photo frame (even though it’s newer). Outer frame dimensions are 8 3/8”x 16 1/2”. The frame stock is 1/2” thick (photo #7). The window openings are 4 1/2” X 6 1/2”. The illustrations were meticulously trimmed to a fitted size. They are mounted (tipped on) 4-ply acid-free museum rag board with new dustcover, hardware and bump-ons, August, 2022. Note: The first 9 photos are taken without glass to avoid reflections/glare issues, 10 & 11 after completion of project. Also Note: The last photo, the book itself, and tissue linings are shown for provenance only and the book is Not included, the tissue linings will be included. I refund shipping charges over actual.
