Description: My parents purchased this dining table in 1970 in Chicago, when we moved back from Bogota Columbia. My father was a Sears executive and he was called back to corporate as things were getting a bit scary in Columbia for Sears executives, kidnapping for example. My mother enjoyed high end furniture such as Baker, especially. I grew up with this dining table in a proper dining room setting for special occasions with Wedgewood fine china and Waterford crystal, hence holidays. My parents also had numerous Sears gatherings at our house for his managers and other regional higher ups. I was lucky enough to inherit the cool stuff my parents had, as my brothers are not design minded. I am keeping most of it and I LOVE this table, but I do not entertain nor have the room for it so it is best to go to someone who will keep on using it and creating great memories as my parents did. The measurements are 42w, 29 h, no leaf - 72 long;, 1 leaf - 92 long, 2 leafs - 112 long. The table has a chair clearance of 25.5 inches.
