Description: This doll is from the 1800s. From the clothes I would say civil war period. She is in beautiful condition and has been well preserved. She has leather shoes and leather hands. Her dress ,petticoats and lace are all handmade. She would have been a very high end expensive doll for the period. I believe the head is painted paper machete but I’m not sure. She face has some surface cracks which I have pictured She is definitely museum quality
