Description: These were collected by me in South Central Texas. I'm a collector with 40 yrs experience of collecting primarily southwest region. 2 arrows on each end are cane arrows that were used with stone tipped Archaic era points. Arrow in middle is Historic era arrow used with iron trade points. Two Archaic stone points and two Iron trade points are within the display to correlate with the arrows. Several fossilized tube plant stems are included, natives made beads with these. Also included is a very old Archaic hand chisel made from heat treated Petrified wood, used to Crack bones and nuts. All items are from areas associated with arrows area. The photo depicts the natives of the area in the late 1800s, which would be the same peoples of were the arrows are from. Most likely western Texas westward through southern NM, AZ and Nevada. Tribal affiliation of the arrows are either Apache, Pima or Paiute.
